Kevin
After leaving Rutlish School, Merton Park, London, Kevin spent the first years of his career “running on the hamster wheel” in retail banking with Nat West performing back office duties making it to Head Cashier 1987-1993.
Wanting a career change, Kevin qualified onto the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists helping clients with confidence issues, phobias, stuttering and broken family relationships. Kevin incorporated selling health products into the business and moved to Spain where there was a gap in the market.
While in Spain, Kevin landed a leading role in a new TV drama filmed on the same, vacant set from the BBC’s ill-fated soap ‘Eldorado’. Kevin’s acting abilities, close working relationships and time as a therapist enabled him to win significant sales roles back in London from 1995 in Internet, selling radio advertising space and in the City as an Equity Dealer. After a role as a senior member within a Mayfair Marketing Agency setting up face-to-face meetings at Director level, Kevin began his own Appointment Setting/Telemarketing company, marketBreach Ltd, in 2002. Momentum then grew, many clients were gained, and healthy business relationships were forged.
In 2008, Kevin tweaked the model, incorporated new training and re-branded into what now is The Appointments Office incorporating its training wing. Along the journey, Kevin has been invited to speak on aspects of Appointment Setting, Cold Calling and Telephone Tips by Business Link at the Business Start-Up show at London’s Excel Centre and today, Kevin is focused on the mix between training provision, running campaigns for clients from all sectors and has incorporated a wing to the business dedicated to land buying (www.kncventures.co.uk). Kevin also has an SIA Security License and supervises the security operations at major sporting events and concerts in the UK at venues such as West Ham United, The Copper Box, Velodrome, Aquatics Centre, Royal Ascot, BST Hyde Park summer concerts, Battersea Power Station, Battersea Park Fireworks and many others. Kevin is also a professional actor and has appeared in movies, TV dramas, independent films and social media ads. He enjoys running, hosting karaoke nights, business, reading and catching up with friends. This boy never sleeps!!!
